Exploring themes of Womanhood in a series of collections created from found objects and recycled materials including a rubber water carrier from childhood camping trips, plastic bags and bubble wrap, plastic netting, metal scouring pads, silk stockings, fur coat pockets, feathers, the metal underwire from a bra, my own hair following chemotherapy.

WOMAN explores natural states of being - fertility and menstruation, love and loss, my own experiences of breast cancer, life cycles and family traditions.

SEXUALITY explores female anatomy and sexuality - female orgasm, the sex industry, independence and exploitation.

The Sex Kitten series of A3 TEXTILES celebrates women's independence by exploiting the derogatory names given to women because of their sexuality.
