Textile Art Hanging: Cancer 2: Mastectomy. Exploring 3D padded structure with excavation site, demonstrating layered structure within the removal of breast tissue. Bubblewrap, plastic, cotton gauze, frayed organza and the lining fabric of an old sofa cushion pad were used to create the body cavity. Original poetry ''Carve me up'' captures the essence of the experience. Colour palette of ivory, pinks, blood red and mustard yellow. From The Womanhood Collection.
