Welcome to my first blog post with Mr X Stitch magazine.

Explore Unusual Materials (cat hair, my own hair and the beautifully sculptural fragility of disintegrated fabrics),

Plastics (bubble wrap, sheets and bags),

and Found Objects (the rubber water carrier from childhood camping trips, silk stockings, the underwire from a bra).

Using 'found objects' in my work: the rubber water carrier from childhood camping trips serves as a body part for the onset of the fertility cycle. Non sexual and age appropriate.
Example of a found object: 'Menstruation'.
